MAKE YOUR GAME SUSTAINABLE
At AGR you can make your game more sustainable and reduce the carbon footprint of its production.
Manufacturing closer to home is already a way to minimize environmental impact, but we also offer you different solutions to reduce it even further.
Alternatives for creating a more ecological, responsible and sustainable game:
1. Recycled paper with FSC® certification
At AGR, we are FSC® certified. This means that the paper we use in your game can be certified as coming from controlled logging, which reduces the impact on the environment and certifies the reforestation and recovery of forest areas.
If you want to learn more about the FSC® certificate, you can visit the FSC® website to find out all the advantages of manufacturing with certified papers.

2. Plastic-free games
We can manufacture games that are 100% free of single-use plastic.
We manufacture our games using processes that leave the paper unchanged and eliminate the need for additional plastic coatings. You can incorporate wooden components into your game, and we also provide paper wrapping and closures, eliminating the use of single-use plastics and resulting in a plastic-free product ready for market.
Our Plastic Free logo is visible on the paper adhesive closures and is available for you to use on your box to certify that no single-use plastics have been used in the manufacture of your board game.

At AGR we do everything in our power to make our factory more sustainable every day.
The three pillars that make it possible are:
1. Factory in operation with solar panels
Our board game factory is located in Humanes de Madrid, (Madrid, Spain). This provides us with approximately 3,000 hours of sunlight per year.
This amount of daylight hours per year, combined with our factory built in 2021, gives us a comparative advantage over other factories, allowing us to operate for up to 6 months a year using solar energy, reducing the negative impact on the environment and mitigating the carbon footprint of each game we manufacture.

2. Electric vehicles
For our deliveries and transport, we use a 100% electric cargo vehicle. This reduces CO₂ emissions associated with transportation and, together with collaboration with local suppliers and efficient logistics planning, minimizes the distances traveled.

3. We are committed to technological alternatives
We have digitized a large part of our production and internal communication processes, reducing the need to print documents and paper consumption. This transition allows us to work more efficiently and effectively, minimizing resources without sacrificing control and quality in every project.
